Wildflower area update

It was a lovely day for the parish councillors and clerk to scatter the wildflower seeds on the prepared earth at the Sivell Close open space. Fortunately, the warm autumn has meant we could sow the seeds a little later than usual. Spring bulbs have also been planted along the front edge of the area and around the silver birch tree. The wildflowers will give us some colour next year until early summer, and we plan to scatter more wildflower seeds in the spring to lengthen the flowering season.
